
On December 30, 2025, East Bangor Borough officially ushered in a new term of governance as Mayor Christopher Confalone administered the Oath of Office to a distinguished group of newly elected and reelected officials. The ceremony, held at the Municipal Authority Office, marked the beginning of a renewed chapter of public service for the community.
The following individuals were sworn into their respective roles, from left to right:
“The dedication these individuals demonstrate by stepping forward to serve is the core of our local government,” said Mayor Confalone. “We are fortunate to have citizens willing to contribute their time and talents to ensure East Bangor remains a wonderful place to live.”
A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of Council Member Susan Ruggiero. With this most recent oath, Mrs. Ruggiero continues a remarkable legacy of public service spanning more than 30 years. Her decades of institutional knowledge and unwavering devotion to the Borough serve as an inspiration to both her colleagues and the community.
During the ceremony, Mayor Confalone also highlighted several recent Borough accomplishments, including the securing of multiple grants to support park improvements, road infrastructure repairs, and enhancements to the fire and police departments to strengthen public safety.
